Galileo Feynman is a blog about science, law, language, and the arts.
I've created it to write about my personal interests and to provide a reference for beliefs, opinions, and information. The intended audience is myself (and anyone like myself). I expect no substantial audience, and so there's a reasonable chance if you're reading this that you're the intended audience.
About the name "Galileo Feynman," your author, and pseudonyms
The name "Galileo Feynman" reflects respect for these two great scientists. I could have chosen any number of other others (and, indeed, I have to the extent of the other pseudonyms of posters and staff of this site). This reflects, though, something less than hero worship; neither Galileo, nor Feynman, nor any of the others I eulogize, were perfect (who is? what does that concept even mean?). In using pseudonyms, though, my view is to have some fun with it, and why not show some respect to some of the greats in history? Newton stood on their shoulders; I, like most others, walk somewhat blindly in their shadow.
I publish under a pseudonym since I am a government lawyer. I remain anonymous -- loosely so, anyway -- to protect my clients (who do not necessarily share any of my opinions and have no involvement with nay of my posts), myself (since my views could lead to retaliation given that my work touches on political interests), and to maintain the integrity of my work (which others sometimes might impugn). Although my work often involves matters of public interest, none of my blog posts reflect my day-to-day legal work nor client confidences of any kind. Thus, there are swaths of areas of interest where I simply do not publish and matters of public debate which I cannot and do not comment upon.

I reserve, of course, the right to edit or remove posts at my discretion. The poor editing (and dubious writing) is solely my responsibility. Copyrighted material is attributed when I can if I am aware of a copyright holder (and copyright applies).
