for insects.
Cordyceps, a fungi that eats the brains and bodies of insects, is claimed to have medicinal value (particularly in traditional Chinese medicine), but
there are no clinical studies demonstrating health benefits in humans. Anyway, here's a "nice" video from the BBC's
Planet Earth series, making cordyceps reminiscent of the "earwigs" from the
Night Gallery episode
The Caterpillar (which, in all its creepiness, can be seen on YouTube --

worms in our brains (not a link to Rush Limbaugh). Yuk.
