I've previously posted about the anniversary of the first moon landing and my experience of it as a nine year old surreptitiously sitting in a motel lobby in Canada watching it on the only t.v. my family could find. Thus, it seems apropos to mention Neil Armstrong's death and record it with a video of the landing -- for the landing was more difficult than actually stepping onto the surface. I have another small connection to the event: my father, a teacher, had Buzz Aldrin as a math student long ago.
