Mu Pan is an artist living now in Brooklyn and born in Taiwan who blends aspects of Chinese and Japanese screen art with bizarre reinterpretations of historical events, kitsch from movies and manga, and an aesthetic sensibility that seems borrowed directly from Hieronymus Bosch.
