Common Google Shortcuts

Noticing a link to a large web graphic on how to use Google more efficiently, I whipped my own chart, which is a little broader, on Google shortcuts.

only searches for the exact word(s) in the quotes -- also a method to include noise words like "the" and "a"
example "you rock" only searches for the phrase "you rock"
~searches related words
example ~awesome only searches for "awesome" and synonyms for it
-excludes the word.
example -gingrich excludes results containing the word "Gingrich."
..searches between two numbers; useful for dates, prices, effective ranges ...
example 2010..2012 only searches for results dated between 2010 and 2012
*universal word replacement -- it replaces an unknown word within a phrase.
example "all * women" yields results of, e.g., "all the women," "all american women," "all pregnant women" ...
site:only searches posts on a specific website.
example site:galileofeynman.blogspot.com only searches this blog
filetype: limits a search to a specific file type
example filetype:gif limits searches to gifs
intitle:limits a search of a term to the document title
example intitle:Biohazard limit search of the word "Biohazard" to document titles
related:finds content in related pages
example related:galileofeynman.blogspot.com finds site with similar content to this one. I tried it and "related:galileofeynman.blogspot.com - did not match any documents."
define:returns definitions for the word
example define:conzenage returns the definition of "cozenage"

converts one number in units to the number in another units (without the number it simply gives the conversion factor)
example 60 miles to kms returns 96.5606 kilometers
example 120 usd in nepalese rupee returns 10312.80 Nepalese Rupee
weatherwith a city or country returns the weather there
example weather kathmandu returns the weather in Kathmandu
timewith a city or country returns the time there
example time kathmandu returns the time in Kathmandu

type in a tracking number from USPS, FedEx, UPS and track your packages

type in ingredients, food name, or dish name, search, then click "recipes" in the menu to return recipes
examples chicken rice curry cream or mulligatawny then clicking "recipes" gives recipes for mulligatawny soup (not a soup actually from Nepal, BTW)
[team name]
typing in a professional team name returns the team's scores and schedule
example green bay packers shows they lost their last game 
[med]type in the name of a medication and info on the medication is returned
example diazepam will give you the info you need on diazepam
[condition]type in the name of a medical condition and info on the condition is returned
example schizophrenia will give you info on schizophrenia
[ticker]
type in a stock ticker symbol to get quotes on it
example goog returns Google's stock price and price history
[zip]typing in a zip code shows where it is; putting it after a food type, restaurant, store, etc., returns locations for that in that zip code
example mulligatawny 10002 returns some soup locations in Manhattan
<ctrl> + Fbrings up a search box one can use to find a term on a web page
