Realistic and Manga Drawing by Mark Crilley

A YouTube video of Mark Crilley drawing/painting a very realistic copy of a torn playing card has been making the rounds of the internet. But that's only one of several by him, and just to be different I am posting a different one -- his drawing of a sliced mushroom. The mushroom, I suppose, is a little more difficult as it's more three dimensional than the card and the coloring comes from nature and is not flat,  uniform, nor an obvious hue.

Let me also emphasize, since I does not jump out on the posts on other sites, that Crilley has a YouTube page with over a hundred instructional videos on drawing, mostly oriented towards manga. I've looked at several of the videos and they look pretty good.
