Christwire -- Conservative Values for the Unsaved World!

Christwire is a fine fine website. It's called for a boycott of Bill Murray (as reported in NBC-LA), provided help in outing gay spouses (as reported in Huffington Post and The Frisky), and suggested an invasion of Egypt led by Sarah Palin (as reported on MSNBC), among other fine insights. One of its main writers, Stephenson Billings, is, in fact, a prolific presence on the internet whose blog alone is worth frequent visits for its "specialness."  But, alas, know one knows who he or she actually is?  Stephenson Billings is a pseudonym. Don't you hate that? Christwire itself is satire. Via boingboing, New York Magazine, and excellent coverage in The Atlantic. And, BTW, one thing that emerges from this is how sleezy the Huffington Post can be: it modified its story to make it seem like it knew Christwire was a parody, according to The Atlantic and the New York Times, when it was really hoodwinked.
